Our counselors are an integral part of Camp Kweebec’s heartbeat. Implementing a dynamic program and maintaining the facilities at camp is only meaningful if our counselor staff supports the mission of providing a safe and caring environment for our campers. We understand how difficult it can be for parents to entrust their child to another’s care. As a result, we consider the selection of our counselor staff to be one of our most important responsibilities.
Being a counselor at Camp Kweebec is so much more than just a summer job. By making meaningful connections, and serving as a positive role model, you will be directly impacting the emotional growth of your campers. But that’s not all. While working with kids is incredibly fun, it is also hard work and can often be very trying. As a result, you’ll learn a lot about yourself and build skills in collaboration and interpersonal relationships that will serve you well throughout your life.
