Whether your passion is for Performing Arts or Creative Arts, Camp Kweebec offers it all, tailored just for you! Every aspiring artist has the opportunity to flex their creative muscles.
If performing arts is your thing, we offer programs in Theater, Dance, Music, and Cooking. Actors can show off their skills in one of our many drama performances each summer. Dance classes in our dance studio, ranging in styles from ballet to hip-hop, offer our campers a perfect place to strut their stuff. Our music program allows campers to take advantage of the variety of instruments at their disposal and a chance to learn something new. There are also many opportunities for campers to entertain at our Camper Talent Shows. The Cooking Room – one of the more popular places at Kweebec – is an ideal setting to learn new techniques and great recipes before enjoying your own delicious creations..
Campers can pursue their artistic ambitions through the many activities offered in our creative arts program. Campers can look forward to painting canvas, jewelry making, using pastels, charcoal & watercolors, crafting, printing & tie dying, candle making, enameling, beading, needlepoint, sewing, mosaic tiling, fabric art & silk screening, basket making, beading, sewing & weaving, and other traditional summer camp crafts that encourage self-expression. Campers also have the chance to experience activities in the areas of Woodshop and Ceramics. Learn how to design, cut and build unique projects out of wood. Perhaps you would prefer to be taught not only the fundamentals of ceramics, but also how to throw pots on a wheel. Or maybe composing and editing photos and/or videos is your thing. No matter what you choose, our staff provides the tools and the instruction and then we let you go for it!
