EXPLORER CAMP:
Join us for two action-packed days and one fun-filled night and get to know camp firsthand at our CK Explorer Weekend! It is a wonderful opportunity for children entering 1st through 4th grades to participate in an introductory overnight camp experience and to see just what Camp Kweebec is all about!
Our CK Explorers are supervised by experienced Kweebec staff and will be bunked together by appropriate age. CK Explorers will participate in camp activities and special events and be fully integrated into our program.

Sample Explorer Weekend Camp Schedule
Saturday
- 10:00am: Welcome Explorer families and drop off camper luggage
- 11:00am: The fun begins at Arts & Crafts where we’ll be tie-dying T-shirts to bring home
- 12:00pm: Choice Activity – What do you love to do? Your adventure awaits at Camp Kweebec! Catch some amazing views as you go down the Zip Line, make a splash in the Aqua Park, or be the last one standing at GaGa- the choice is yours!
- 1:00pm: Enjoy a healthy lunch in the Dining Hall. Could be Grilled Cheese or Pizza- always paired with delicious and fresh options from our Salad Bar and Alternative Table
- 2:30pm: Get ready to tube with a friend in the big lake, swing through the air on the Giant Swing or take a peaceful walk in nature during Ecology
- 3:30pm: Swim Time! Continue the fun down at the waterfront with some Water Ice and frozen treats
- 4:30pm: Get moving with our athletic directors and counselors at tennis, pickleball or beach volleyball
- 5:30pm: Recall- Shower Time
- 6:15pm: Line up! Hear all about the awesome Evening Activities we have in store, listen to the highlights of the day and lower the flag
- 6:30pm: What’s on the menu for dinner? Enjoy one of Chef Rob’s delicious meals! Tacos, Make Your Own Cheese Steak, or Chinese Food could be one of our offerings that night! All entrees are accompanied by a healthy side and fresh fruit.
- 7:30pm: Canteen Grab some snacks or an amazing dessert from the incredible selection at CK Canteen
- 8:30pm: Evening Activities- join in the fun with our Junior Camp for an awesome night making memories! The possibilities are endless-A themed dance, campfire or a drive-in movie just to name a few!
Sunday
- 9:30am: Sunday breakfast bagels, eggs, fruit and cereal.
- 11:00am: Organized games and a variety of athletics with our amazing Athletic Staff
- 12:00pm: Continue the fun on our Ropes Course, mini golf or gymnastics
- 1:00pm: Lunch- Another delicious meal in the Dining Hall filled with music and smiles surrounded by your new friends
- 2:30pm: Enjoy one of the pools and the amazing views down at the waterfront
- 3:30pm: Head back to the bunks to pack up your belongings
- 4:00pm: Visit the Canteen for an afternoon treat!
- 4:30pm: Welcome Explorer Parents and tour of Camp Kweebec
- 5:30pm: Wrap up and departure on the Junior Field
